Okay this post is a little late but I have to admit I did not come inside the house today until the sun started going down and really that was only to make dinner and get the kids ready for bed. Yes my friends, sunshine was had here in this gloomy state. I caught up on my vitamin D by taking on some yard work and a pond project. Yes you read that right; I dug a pond. It’s not nearly finished so I didn’t take a photo of it yet because I want you all to be “wowed” by it once it’s finished. At least I hope it has wow factor. Right now it’s a big lop-sided as I have a slopped backyard so it’s a challenge to get things level. We will see if this is another Pinterest fail folks.
I hope each of you had a relaxing and wonderful weekend full of sunshine and fun activities! I did stop yard work long enough to take my kids to the park and let them burn off some energy. They even got to bust out their Mustang Power Wheel and take it for a little spin. Unfortunately for us, the rain and clouds will return for us tomorrow-the first day of spring but thankfully I got my rose bushes in the ground so the Seattle rain will give them a nice shower. I will take some photos of the garden as it progresses but for today, I really liked this photo I took of a really cool cactus. They almost look like cheese puffs.
